The Restaurant at Donnybrook Fair is situated above our gourmet food store in the heart of Donnybrook village. Justin Owen our Restaurant Manager & Ben Anderson our Head Chef have been leading their team in creating some of Dublin’s finest food offerings at exceptional value, and have fast created a loyal following. | About Tommasi: | ||
| Located in the heart of Valpolicella Classico region, northwest of Verona, between the Lessini Mountains and their plains near Lake Garda, Tommasi is a family viticultural firm founded in 1902. From their grandfather Giacomo's tiny vineyard, the Tommasi estate has grown steadily over the course of years and today extends over 135 hectares of vineyards; 40 hectares for the production of high quality white & red wines in the D.O.C. regions of Verona (such as Soave, Lugana and Pinot Grigio) and 95 hectares in the Valpolicella Classico area, for the production of the traditional red wines of this region such as Amarone, Valpolicella Classico Superiore and "Ripasso" della Valpolicella. The most important and prestigious wine of Valpolicella is the stately Amarone, which is, without doubt, one of the great wines of the world. Tommasi has specialised in the production of this "Divine Nectar" for decades, and has deservedly become one of its principal ambassadors to the world. Today Tommasi is run by the fourth generation of the family, with each member taking responsibility for a different role within the winery, from winemaking to sales and marketing. | ||
